Why should I monitor my credit report?
Your credit history is important and can affect you financially should you fall victim to identity theft. Detecting signs of identity theft early is important, and reviewing your credit report is a tool you can use to assist in discovering any unusual activity or errors.

How often can I get a copy of my credit report?
Federal Law allows consumers to get a free copy of their credit reports every 12 months from each of the three credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion). Therefore, you can get a free credit report from a different agency every four months, which helps you monitor your credit activity all year long.
Due to the COVID pandemic, anyone in the U.S. can get a free credit report every week through December 2022 from Equifax, Experian and TransUnion by visiting www.AnnualCreditReport.com.
Where can I find additional information?
Additional information is available from the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov.
